Download 2019 Dates

Download Festival will take place from 14th – 16th June 2019.

5 Night Camping and 5 Night Quiet Camping Tickets give you access to campsites from 12pm on Wednesday 12th June until 12pm on Monday 17th June 2019 and access to the Arena on all show days.

3 Night Camping and 3 Night Quiet Camping Tickets give you access to campsites from 10am on Friday 14th June until 12pm on Monday 17th June 2019 and access to the Arena on all show days.

Weekend Arena Tickets only gives you access to the Arena on all show days (Fri/Sat/Sun).

Weekend Camping Tickets

3 or 5 nights camping and entry to all 3 days of the festival. You can choose to camp in the main camping areas, or if you prefer to take a breather come the witching hour, then the Quiet Camping area has a noise curfew at midnight.

No Camping Tickets

Entry to the Download Festival Arena, the spiritual home of rock and metal. Access to all stages, food stalls, and an array of attractions with a Weekend Arena ticket.

  • Weekend Arena Only Adult – £185 + BF + P&P
  • Weekend Arena Only Child – £90 + BF + P&P

Day tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday will go on sale in 2019.

 

Volunteer

You can gain entrance to this summer’s Download Festival by volunteering with us!

Our volunteers will be playing a big part in creating the amazing atmosphere at Download Festival by helping the festival goers to get the most out of their festival; by joining the team as a volunteer you can help us to continue making Download one of the best festivals in the world!

When volunteering at Download you’ll get entry to the festival, lots of spare time to enjoy the music, make new friends whilst volunteering, gain experience, contacts, and a reference for your CV, get access to staff camping, cafe, toilets and showers, and most importantly have an amazing time you’ll never forget!

Our volunteers get involved with all sorts at Download, including:

  • Providing information including directions, facilities, and performances, to ensure the festival goers have the best weekend possible.
  • Working in the festival’s campsites, arenas, on gates, fire towers, and wristband exchanges.
  • Being proactive and alert to any potential problems e.g. a build-up of litter or faulty facilities.
  • Promoting crime awareness and crime prevention to the public.
  • Helping festival goers carry their belongings and pitch their tents.
  • Working with onsite teams to ensure medical, fire and security issues are dealt with promptly and safely.
  • Helping to prevent overcrowding and on hand to monitor crowd safety.
  • Assisting the public to create an environment where they feel safe.

Where is Download?

Download happens on the sacred site that is Donington Park, next to East Midlands Airport. Donington Park lies where the three counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire meet – the ley lines of ROCK!

Download has excellent connections by road, rail, bus and plane.

Please note: There will be no Pedestrian access to the Festival from Melbourne Lane

Age restrictions and children’s tickets

Children under 5 (Aged 4 or below) are not permitted at Download 2019. Child Tickets (5-12 years old) can be purchased with at least one adult ticket. Teenagers aged 13-15 years must have an adult ticket. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 years or over.

If you are 16 or over you can attend alone.

We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18’s on site.

Valid ID

A valid form of ID may be needed throughout the event.  We have a Challenge 21 Policy on site and the following are accepted as ID on site for the bars and cigarettes:

  • A Passport (Not a photocopy)
  • Full Driving Licence or Provisional Licence
  • A Proof of Age Card bearing a PASS hologram
  • A Ministry of Defence identity card
  • A National identity card issued by an EU member state
