Our campsites and campervan field will open at 12pm on Wednesday 2nd June (for 5 Day Weekend Camping Ticket holders), and close at 12pm on Monday 7th June.
We aim to open the Main Arena at the during the following times:

Our Box Office on-site at Download Festival will be open during the following times:
Again, Box Office times are subject to change. * indicates estimate times – on these days the box office will close 30mins after the headliner starts.
Those wishing to get the full Download experience by camping at the festival, can choose between 3 or 5 Night Camping Tickets. Each ticket providing access to the campsites, Village and Main Arena (on Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
Depending on which ticket type you choose, you will be able to access the campsites from the following times:
You can choose to camp in our main campsites (see festival map, when available), or to stay in our Quiet Camping area – which has a midnight noise curfew – or Eco-Camp.
If you don’t wish to camp, Weekend Arena Only tickets are also available, giving you access to the Main Arena (only) on all show days; Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
This ticket type does not grant access to the campsites or campsite Village, but does give access to all stages, food / drink stalls, and non-music activities located within the Main Arena.
Individual Day Tickets will also be available nearer to the event.
Instalment Plan options are available for all Weekend Ticket types, allowing you to split the cost of your ticket into three easy payments.
To take advantage of our Instalment Plans, head to our ticket page and select the instalment plan option for the ticket type you wish to choose, i.e. ‘5 Nights Standard Camping (Instalment Plan)’. You will then see a breakdown of payments, and payment dates.
Please note: there is a £5 non-refundable payment plan fee on all payment plan bookings. Use of the payment plan is subject to ticket and upsells availability.

Volunteer with Hotbox Events and not only will you be helping other festival goers get the most out of their weekend but you’ll also get to go behind the scenes, meet other volunteers from around the world, and make new friends.
When joining as a volunteer at Download you’ll be provided with entry to the festival (including lots of free time to also enjoy it), plus access to staff camping, cafes, toilets and showers.

Download Festival takes place at the hallowed grounds of rock, Donington Park, next to East Midlands Airport.
Taking place where the three counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire meet, Download Festival has excellent connections by road, rail, bus and plane.
Children under 5 year old (ages 0-4 years) are allowed at Download Festival for free, and do not require a child ticket, but must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
5-12 years olds must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult and each child will require a Child Ticket.
13-15 must purchase an adult ticket and also be accompanied by a parent / guardian over 18.
