PLUS, we’re excited to announce that day tickets are on sale NOW! So, if you can’t make the full weekend, don’t worry – just grab a ticket for the day of your choice. Instalment plans are now also available on day tickets for the very first time!

Your Friday night second stage headliner is none other than one of the Big Four of thrash metal – Megadeth!  That’s right, Dave Mustaine and co will be returning to Donington for the first time since 2016. The band have recently celebrated their 35th anniversary, so prepare to hear a selection of all their biggest hits.

Punk icons Descendents will be making their Download debut next year, headlining the Avalanche stage on Sunday! The legendary Californian band have been going since 1977! We can’t wait to welcome them to the hallowed ground. We’re expecting ‘Good Good Things’.

As well as Descendents, a host of other acts will be taking the Avalanche stage across the Download weekend.

Creeper frontman Will Gould’s new project Salem will be playing one of their very first live shows in the tent, while Blackpool’s pop punk favourites Boston Manor are sure to tear things up. Reggae punks The Skints and exciting new emo outfit Static Dress will also appear on the stage on Sunday.

We’ve added two new acts to the Download Main Stage – The awesome Northlane will be bringing their Aussie metalcore to the stage on Sunday, while Saturday will see Canada’s Monster Truck (who sound just like their name, FYI) rocking up a storm.

Plus, over on the second stage, solo guitarist and vocalist Ayron Jones and Lancaster rockers Massive Wagons will be ready to get the pit pumped up.

Think the bigger stages are getting all the fun? Think again. We’ve added a veritable ton of talent to the Dogtooth Stage.

Welsh death metal titans Venom Prison will take the stage on Saturday, so get your best pit moves ready. But don’t use ’em all up, as on Sunday, Texas rap metallers Fire From The Gods will bring the mosh.

Plus, Boston groove rockers Dead Poet Society, Irish folk-metallers The Scratch, techy New Yorkers Uncured, hardcore five-piece Renounced, and theatrical metal clown troupe The Injester will all make an appearance in the tent across the weekend.

Download 2021 takes place on 4th-6th June in Donington Park, with headliners KISS, Biffy Clyro, and System Of A Down. Tickets, including day tickets, are on sale now!
