Everything You Need To Know About Download TV THIS WEEKEND!

The wait is almost over – Download TV is coming THIS WEEKEND!

That’s right, for ONE WEEKEND ONLY, you can enjoy 3 days of live streamed music, interviews, interactive content and loads more from your favourite bands.

Just like on site, these performances won’t be repeated, so make sure you take a look below at some of the awesome stuff coming up and find out how you can watch.

With over 20 hours of programming streaming across the weekend, Download TV is set to be THE virtual event of the summer. The weekend will be split into daytime and evening programming, with the daytime content hosted by none other than Kerrang! Radio’s Sophie K, and Download regular Kylie Olsson hosting the evening show.

The event kicks off on Friday at 12pm, with a whole host of activities including Doom Yoga, cooking demonstration with vegan superstars BOSH, a pub quiz, and a KISS make up tutorial from Gemma Stafford! Of course, there’s no shortage of bands involved: including Theory, Milk Teeth, and a world exclusive premiere from Chester Bennington’s previous band Grey Daze!

From 7pm, head on over to Youtube for the evening programme. We’ve got over 4.5 HOURS of content including exclusive interviews and a ton of live performances, headlined by the one and only KISS!

There’s something for everyone during Saturday’s programme, starting from 12pm. Get your heart racing and your horns in the air with Rockfit, cookalong with the hilarious Nat’s What I Reckon, or learn how to mix cocktails with MasterChef’s Simon Wood! There’s also exclusive performances from the likes of Amaranthe, Employed To Serve and more – and a very special quarantine diary from Killswitch Engage!

The evening content will start at 7pm, headlined by none other than Iron Maiden.

The final day of activities takes place on Sunday from 11.30am. Rise and shine with a mindfulness session from Mind The Dog, rock out with internet sensation Nandi Bushell, and check out footage from Download festivals across the globe! Don’t miss exclusive performances from the likes of Wage War, Milk Teeth and Twin Temple as well.

Sunday’s evening programme starts at 4.25pm and brings you another 4.5 hours of content, headlined by the legendary System Of A Down.

And the fun doesn’t end there – join Dan P Carter on BBC Radio One’s Rock Show from 9pm for the official Download TV afterparty!
