If you’re a Superbeast for vegan food like Rob Zombie, we’ve got you covered at Download 2019. Hit up Simply Vegan Catering for mouthwatering comfort food classics that are 100% plant-based – like, the stacked burgers slathered in vegan cheese.
Whilst, at the Wandering Veggie you can dig into their ‘feel good bowl’ of warming moroccan spiced chick peas cooked with garlic onions and tomatoes, served on a bed of rice, topped with fresh herbs and crunchy tortilla dippers – delish.

Gobble your way around the world without leaving Donington Park with food from across the globe. Take a trip to Japan with one of Happy Maki‘s freshly rolled vegan sushi – like, their carnivore approved Hoisin Duck.
Travel down to Italy with Ravi Ollie who’ll be serving up restaurant standard, you guessed it, ravioli! Their 8 hour slow cooked pulled pork and caramelised onion ravioli is worth crawling out your tent for.
Go stateside with the Texas Smoker – the largest and most authentic American smoker in the UK festival scene. You’ll go full caveman when your gnashers come into contact with their smoked meat, drenched in homemade sauces and rubs.
Whilst, at the Roti Pan Kitchen you’ll be transported you to the other side of the world with their explosive flavours of the Caribbean all in just one wrap.
For all you carnivores out there, get ready to reign in blood as there’s enough meat options at #DL2019 to have a different type of meat for EVERY DAY you’re at the festival.
We’ve got more chicken than the colonel himself. At The Chicken Shop you can get your fix of fried chicken served with their original Jack Daniels sauce. Whilst at The Roaming Rotisserie you can gorge on a Farm Assured whole chicken.
At Gallops Farm you can take a bite out of a great homemade burger with a clear conscience, as their burgers are all made using sustainable techniques.
If you look at Peppa Pig and think ‘delish’, first you’re a wrong ‘un, but secondly you’ll love Sylvester & Green who’ll be serving freshly cooked British Roast Pork.
And, for a those of you who like your meat with a twist, why not try i Love Ostrich. Their unique ostrich burgers are served on brioche bun with seasonal leaves and a choice of toppings, including blow torched cheddar.
We’ve got awesome deserts for you to sink your sweet tooth into at #DL2019. For that post-mosh slump, hit up Los Churros Amigos – all of their vegan churros are made with vegan ingredients and come with a mini bucket of Belgian chocolate sauce for that all-important dunking.
Nothing beats a brew and a piece of cake even at a festival. Kitty’s Cake Emporium will be offering freshly made cakes, plus over 100 flavours of tea and 20 flavours of hot chocolate – including vegan options.
If you’re feeling a bit delicate by Sunday, Shaken Udder Milkshakes will save the day with their real fruit, chocolate and ice cream milkshakes.
It wouldn’t be a Download without being able to get a full roast dinner stuffed into a giant Yorkshire pud. So, you’ll be pleased to hear The King Of Yorky will once again be serving to the Download fam giant Yorkshire puds crisped to perfection with a variety of tasty fillings. Up the north!
