It’s not too late to join the Heavy Metal Truants on their annual mission! Whilst sign ups to join the ride in person have now closed, you can still join the ride virtually.
These charities still need your help! You’ve got until the 30th May to join this very special 10th anniversary event.
There’s a number of notable names from rock and metal taking part this year too. You’ll be joining the likes of Rob Rolfe of Enter Shikari, Aaron Aedy of Paradise Lost, plus manager of Iron Maiden’s Rod Smallwood, who co-founded the Truants in 2013. You’ll truly be in rock and roll company!
Take on the distance however you choose: walk, run, cycle… You just need to track your miles on the Strava app. Full details on how to take part are on the Heavy Metal Truants’ website. What’s more, signing up is totally free!
All proceeds from your fundraising efforts will go to support some seriously awesome charities: Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust, Childline and Save The Children.
