Ready for the weekend? Ready for some brand new mosh worthy bangers? It’s #NewMusicFriday and we’ve rounded up the best of the best to have you rocking out all weekend long.

This week, there’s new singles from State Champs, Man With A Mission, I Prevail and Black Futures.

things get weird in new State Champs video

The latest State Champs single ‘Criminal’ is accompanied by a hilarious video that has a man hunting for a fifth generation iPod (don’t ask why). On his quest he encounters crocodiles, cops and what appears to be demonic possession. You’ll understand when you watch it. Trust us, it’s a riot.

man with a mission get their game on

Everyone’s favourite wolfpack Man With A Mission have just dropped a new single, ‘Left Alive’, taken from the upcoming PS4 game of the same name. The song is inspired by the survival action shooter game, which is due to delight your thumbs on 5th March.

Love the single’s awesome artwork? Well, it’s illustrated by Yoji Shinkawa, who is a character designer in the game and is known for his work on the Metal Gear series.

i prevail get heavy

Looks like I Prevail are heading in a heavier direction if the first single from their upcoming album ‘Trauma’ is anything to go by. ‘Bow Down’ is a real circle pit starter and the Green Mile inspired video takes a pretty vicious swipe at record labels. We predict they’ll absolutely tear up the Main Stage on Sunday.

black futures

Taken from their upcoming debut album, the new Black Futures track ‘Me.TV’ features an appearance from Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie.

The band said of the track: “‘Turn Down Your ME.TV & Turn Up For Your Community’ is one of our expedition club mottos. We are all part of this vast, awe-inspiring web of existence. A community of humans, flora, fauna and seemingly vast expanses of space and time.”

kim jennett

Up and coming rocker Kim Jennett has just released her second single, ‘Let Me Be The One’. Her powerhouse vocals take centre stage over hard rock riffs in a jam that’s guaranteed to have you headbanging.

Don’t miss her awesome live show on the Dogtooth Stage this summer.

You can catch all these acts alongside Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool and many more in Donington Park, 14th-16th June, for Download 2019.
