New Music Friday – Asking Alexandria, Blessthefall and More

It’s that time of the week again and you know what that means! Download’s New Music Friday returns today featuring Asking Alexandria, Blessthefall, Knocked Loose  and Rise Against. So plug in your headphones and rock your way into the weekend.

Earlier this week Asking Alexandria released a stripped back, acoustic version of their song ‘Alone in a Room.’ Filmed in a church in Kentucky while the band is on tour, the ethereal video was recorded to celebrate the song becoming a hit in the US, currently sitting in the top ten of the Active Rock Charts. Check out the video and acoustic version of ‘Alone in a Room’ below.

Blessthefall’s ‘Wishful Sinking’

This week also saw Blessthefall releasing a music video for their latest single, ‘Wishful Sinking.’ The track is taken from their latest album, ‘Hard Feelings’  which was released earlier this year. The band absolutely nail the visuals of the video and stick to the aesthetic of the album. See for yourself…

Knocked Loose bring ‘the rain’

It’s the week of the music video. Knocked Loose have dropped a brand new video for their track ‘The Rain’. The video features dramatic visuals of the band performing their song in a house as it slowly gets flooded with water. Check it out below!

Rise against rise to the top

In other news this week, Rise Against have a cause to celebrate as their song, ‘Savior’ gets voted as one of the top alternative songs of all time by Billboard. Have a listen and see what you think.
