It’s Friday, it’s pay day and the Download dog has splashed out on a new collar for #DL2019. Could today BE any better?

Yes, it could as The Fever 333, Black Stone Cherry, Avenged Sevenfold and Bury Tomorrow have all dropped new music.

The FEVER 333 unleash ‘Made In America’ remix ft Travis Barker and Vic Mensa

If you thought The Fever 333’s title track from their sublime debut album ‘Made In America’ sounded intense just wait until you get your ears around this new remix.

Featuring Travis Barker on drums and rhymes from Vic Mensa, the track is as ferocious as that Avalanche set at #DL2018. Hit play and get ready to be blown away.

Black Stone Cherry premiere new video for ‘Carry Me On Down The Road’

Have you ever laid in bed at night and thought, “what would it be like to hit the road with Black Stone Cherry?” Wonder no more as the Kentucky’s favourite sons have dropped the ‘Carry Me On Down The Road’ video, which gives you an insider’s take on their touring lives including a cameo from none other than the Download Dog plushie.

Speaking to Metal Hammer about ‘Carry Me On Down The Road’, BSC front man Chris Robertson said the track is, “one of my absolute favorites from the album. It may be one of the top five songs we’ve ever written”. We couldn’t agree more.

Slash drops the video for ‘Driving rain’

Slash released his fourth solo album ‘Living The Dream‘ featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators last week and we’ve had it on repeat at Download HQ ever since.

Now he’s dropped a live-action animated video for ‘Driving Rain’ from the album. The video has puppets acting out the track’s lyrics and even includes a puppet Slash, of course, noodling on a clifftop.

Avenged Sevenfold release new mix of ‘Mad Hatter’

It’s not often that a rock band is big enough to admit that they might have made a mistake, but most bands aren’t A7X. Posting on Reddit, Avenged front man M. Shadows said he’s put the original mix of the song released last week, which some fans had complained was too compressed, in the “we f**ked up category”.

Agreeing with fans that the clarity of the song on streaming and radio had become “muddied”, M. Shadows announced a new mix of the the track would be released. We love that guy.

Bury Tomorrow get heavy in ‘More Than Mortal’ new video

Brace yourself for some Matrix style next level visuals as Bury Tomorrow have gone in hard for their new video for ‘More Than Mortal’, the third single from the metalcore masters’ fifth album, ‘Black Flame’.

The band said the idea for the video, “came from taking the theme of the song to its ultimate progression” explaining that, “the exploitation of the the masses from celebrity and corporation is portrayed as its own pseudo-future religion and the Black Flame are here to bring it down”.

Download 2019 is going to rock Donington to the core when it returns on 14th-16th June 2019. See you in the pit? \m/
