New Music Friday – Greta Van Fleet, You Me At Six and more

Our favourite time of the week is back, Download’s New Music Friday! Sit back, relax and bring in the weekend with new tracks from Greta Van Fleet, The Struts and SHVPES, plus a new album from You Me At Six.

Greta van fleet

It feels like we’ve been talking about Greta Van Fleet non-stop recently. They’ve been blessing us with track after track in the lead up to the release of their album, ‘Anthem of a Peaceful Army’. Today they grace us with their latest song, ‘Anthem’, which boasts a more acoustic and stripped back approach showing versatility, depth and has us even more hyped for the release of their album later this month.

You Me at six

The wait is over! Today marks the day You Me At Six release their sixth full-length album titled ‘VI’. After listening to ‘Fast Forward’ and ‘3AM’ in the weeks building up to the release, we knew that we were in store for a collection of bangers. If you’re searching for an upbeat album of confident fun, then look no further. Stream ‘VI’ in full now.

The struts

The Struts make another appearance in our New Music Friday feature and for good reason. Following last month’s announcement of their upcoming sophomore album, ‘Young & Dangerous’, The Struts have released yet another song ‘Fire (Part 1)’  to tease us. The 7th song on the album’s tracklist is an anthemic, classic, rock n roll hit. We can hardly wait for more.

Dogtooth Stage veterans SHVPES came out with their new song ‘Afterlife’ earlier this week. The third song from their upcoming album ‘Greater Than’ to be released in November, ‘Afterlife’ has got us pumped to hear more from this band.
