New Music Friday: I Prevail, Whitesnake, Zebrahead, PENGSHui

It’s New Music Friday and we’ve got a stack full of the freshest jams to rock your weekend.

Crank the volume up to 11 and put your horns in the air for I Prevail, Whitesnake, Zebrahead and PENGSHUi.

I Prevail share their story in new ‘Hurricane’ video

New Music Friday is about to be renamed ‘I Prevail Friday’ as the Michigan band just keep it coming. Days after dropping their sophomore album, ‘Trauma‘, last Friday the guys released the video for album track, ‘Hurricane’.

In the self-directed video  front man Brian Burkheiser takes you through the band’s journey so far and their plans for the future. You get to see personal footage of the band in the studio, on the road and hanging out. Before hitting ‘play’, grab the tissues as this is a video that’s so emotional it would make even Satan himself weep.

Whitesnake are shouting  ‘Hey You (You Make Me Rock)’

It’s t-minus 840 hours until Whitesnake drop their 13th album, ‘Flesh & Blood’, on 10th May and David Coverdale and co are keeping the anticipation high. ‘Hey You (You Make Me Rock’) is an anthemic blues beast that will have you hollering out ‘HEY! YOU’ at your mates in Donington Park this June.

It’s the third track the band have shared from the album after already dropping  certified rock bangers ‘Shut Up & Kiss’ and ‘Trouble Is Your Middle Name’.

Get ready to go 360 in zebrahead’s new video

Cali punks Zebrahead have dropped the video for ‘When Both Sides Suck, We’re All Winners’ taken from their 13th album ‘Brain Invaders’ and it’s a doozy. Shot in 360, the frenetic cuts perfectly parallel the energy and passion of the track. Be warned, though, some of the spinning shots nearly made the Download Dog barf.

Speaking about the track, vocalist Ali said: “The song deals with the way people argue their point without taking time to try and understand the other person’s perspective. This causes people to take sides rather than have a meaningful conversation which could lead to a mutual understanding of each other’s points of view”.
