New Music Friday

Each week, we’re going to give you a list of epic songs – all recently released, and all certified bangers. This is your one-stop shop to find out all the latest gnarliest, heaviest tracks. Listen on, if you dare…

Milk Teeth – ‘Nearby Catfight’

We love these British pop-punk grungers to death. Their snarl holds a gnarly bite and almost all their massive tunes get stuck in our heads thanks to their infectious hooks. This new track is from their new EP ‘Go Away’ – out 17th November on Roadrunner Records.

Converge – ‘Reptilian’

The absolutely legendary metalcore shredders have announced their new album ‘The Dusk In Us’ – which, if all the tracks are as balls-to-the-wall heavy as this, we’re going to LOVE. The album comes out 3rd November – put it in your diary, DLers. This band tear it up like nobody else.

Black Sabbath – Iron Man

If you haven’t heard, Sabbath are about to release their fan-funded mammoth boxset ‘The Ten Year War’. The gigantic collection includes the first six albums on LP, a crucifix-shaped USB stick (yes, you read that right) and whole load of collective memorabilia you’d find nowhere else – including posters, programmes and documentation of their incredible career. No – this track isn’t new – but it’s still amazing.

Wolf Alice – ‘Heavenward’

Happy release day Wolf Alice! Their new album ‘Visions Of A Life’ is out today, and with it they’ve smashed back into the British rock spotlight. This epic track has an all-encompassing shoegaze vibe, and we think you need to listen to it RIGHT NOW.

Electric Wizard – ‘See You In Hell’

The kings of doom are back – and bigger and better than ever. This bone-crunching seven minute long song is basically everything you need: it’s dark, it’s heavy and it’s gruesomely awesome. I mean, who calls a song ‘See You In Hell’ that doesn’t rip your head off? We love you, Electric Wizard.
