Funeral for a Friend is a Welsh post-hardcore band formed in 2001. The band gained prominence with their debut album “Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation” in 2003, which became a defining release in the post-hardcore genre. Known for their emotive lyrics and energetic performances, they released several more acclaimed albums, including “Hours” (2005) and “Tales Don’t Tell Themselves” (2007). After a brief hiatus starting in 2016, the band reformed in 2019 for a series of charity reunion shows, leading to standout festival appearances and sold out concerts across the UK through 2023.
