Lowlives was born after UK rock scene veterans Lee Villain (ex-The Defiled) and Luke Johnson (ex-Amen/No Devotion) started chatting on social media while both taking a break from the music world. Both based in Los Angeles and somewhat disenchanted by past experiences, they united around a shared love of noisy ‘90s rock and the vital notion of live music as an act of celebratory catharsis. Now augmented by esteemed bassist Steve Lucarelli (of legendary Indiana punks The Ataris) and second guitarist Jaxon Moore, Lowlives are about to give rock’n’roll a much-needed kick up the backside.
