Up-and-coming young chef Aston Prideaux has just turned 18 years old. He started cooking at 13 when his parents bought him a BBQ to keep him occupied and he then started an Instagram account, @smokin_maple_meats, to document his progress.
Over the past few years, Aston has appeared at festivals around the country, showcasing his passion for cooking over live fire.
Aston completed an apprenticeship with the Tom Kerridge Group, working in various Michelin kitchens, and is currently based at the Manor House Hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Bybrook, which recently achieved a spot in the top 100 restaurants in the country.
