Snot

Snot is an American punk band from Santa Barbara, California, originally formed in 1995. Known for blending punk rock, hardcore, and funk influences, featured Lynn Strait as the charismatic lead vocalist, along with the lead guitarist Mikey Doling, bassist John Fahnestock, drummer Jamie Miller, and later, Sonny Mayo on guitar.

Unfortunately, the band’s career was cut short in 1998 when Lynn Strait tragically died in a car accident, along with his dog, Dobbs, who was featured on the cover of Get Some. Following Strait’s death, the band dissolved, but Snot’s impact continued, and they developed a devoted cult following. In 2025, Snot decided to return to the scene with the new singer.
