30 years on from the first festival at Donington and Download soared to new heights in 2010. Attracting crowds of over 100,000, the site christened the previous year had no problem accommodating numbers. In fact the festival had got so big that it needed two Main Stages – though admittedly one was only for AC/DC who insisted on bringing their full stadium show. A major challenge for any venue and never before attempted at a major festival!
