Time to get planning for #DLXXII

Before you set off for the best weekend of the year, here’s some key info to make sure your arrival is smooth sailing. See you soon Downloaders!

Arrival times

All campsites will open on Wednesday at 12pm for 5-day ticket holders. We then ask that you leave by 12 noon on Monday (and remember to take everything home with you!). Check out our FAQs for more info on opening/closing times.

Shuttle buses

Shuttle buses will be running frequently to and from the festival transport hub from both East Midlands Parkway and Derby train station. All bus timetables are now available.

Things you can/can’t bring to the festival

Before you start packing, take a look at the full list of what you can and can’t bring.

Please note that there will be no receipts issued for any confiscated/surrendered items and they will not be available to collect after the festival.

Plan your travel

Don’t leave planning your travel to the last minute! Plan ahead to ensure you get here with ease. Our live travel updates page will host real-time updates on road closures & traffic, weather, car park capacity and more, so be sure to check it out. In the app

The official Download Festival app is essential for your DLXXII weekend. This is where you’ll find your ticket as well as the set times, site maps and all your food & drink options at the festival.
